MobiMogul to Launch New Mobile Advertising Service

MobiMogul, Inc. (www.MobiMogul.com), a mobile phone advertising network focused on providing audible advertisements to consumers and sharing the ad revenues from the advertisements with MobiMogul subscribers and mobile service providers, is set to launch in early 2008. MobiMogul's services seeks to turn the mobile phone user into a mobile entrepreneur.

Southfield, MI (PRWEB) December 30, 2007 -- Back in January of 2007, MobiMogul was hard at work trying to come up with a solution to advertiser's biggest problem, how to most effectively enter the mobile phone market. Through months of research MobiMogul sorted through what consumers deemed as intrusive platforms to ultimately come up with what they perceive to be their answer to the problem.

Set to launch in the first quarter of 2008, MobiMogul will introduce the first advertisement ringback called AdTones™. These short 10 to 20 second audible tones of consumer products and service offerings (advertisements) offer consumers an opportunity to earn a percentage of the ad revenue dollars each time the advertisement is heard.

MobiMogul offers a unique way for advertisers to take their recorded audible ads and offer them to consumers to help promote their product(s) or service(s) through our customized ad ringback tones. AdTones™, much like ringback tones, replaces the standard ring-ring on any phone and heard by anyone who places a call to a number that is using the AdTones™ product. AdTones™ are attractive to both mobile service providers and consumers because they both share in the revenues generated from advertisments.

According to MobiMogul's management team:

"We have three situations currently taking place in regards to mobile advertising: 1. Advertisers want a better way to communicate with their potential customers; 2. service providers want to increase subscriber loyalty, revenue, and market share; and 3. mobile users want a way to decrease their bills as well as earn some extra cash. The solution: AdTones™ which creates a win-win-win solution for all parties involved."

So while the movement behind mobile advertising overall is just gaining momentum. It's expected to generate $895 million worldwide this year, though it is anticipated to grow to $14.6 billion by 2011, according to Gartner Inc. While that's a small chunk of the overall advertising market, with almost 260 million cell phone subscribers in the United States, the potential bounty for advertisers is inviting. This is one reason why most feel Google is investing heavily in mobile and making moves to expand their services into the mobile market.
